The program
This Department offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that deal with various aspects of the Arabic language, linguistics and literature. This field of study aims to equip students with the knowledge of the main Islamic principles and values. Our programme confidently prepares students for opportunities in the educational, private and government sector. As an international language, it accords our students a wide variety of platforms to exhibit their abilities.
This faculty conducts teaching, research and publication of Arabic Language Studies and Islamic teachings of Fiqh, Islamic history and Jurisprudence. It also entails the teaching of the Holy Quran, its translation, transliteration and memorization. In this faculty, Islam and its teachings are explicitly taught for a positive mental attitude towards this life and the next life as taught by Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). Emphasis is laid on the spiritual development for a classic change of the world view and islamization of thought, ideas, believe and practice according to the prophet.
