FACULTY/COLLEGE OF ECONOMICS & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

The faculty concentrates on teaching and research in economic/business management and its developmental phases of business startup and innovation in the technology industries as well as serves as the focal point of the University’s effort in the general areas of invention. The present day learning, teaching and research of the 21^st century is geared towards developing new economic models using tools like SPSS, E-VIEWS, AMOS, Q-VIEWS etc to create entrepreneurial atmosphere for invention, creation of start-ups, expansion of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) while catering for unemployment due to factors such as rapid population growth, inadequate financing of start-ups, low motivation for risk taker etc. This faculty therefore intend to stimulate growth through entrepreneurship development and financing new models and technique to boost growth and productivity.

The program

The Bachelor of Business administration program aims to enhance students’ personal development, team working spirit and presentation skills. In Waidsum University, we believe that the real basis for management is experience. Entrepreneurial skills and the ability to recognise and analyse opportunities will also be welcomed, encouraged and developed.
