Foundation Program
The philosophy of the Pre-graduate School is to prepare student for the bachelor degree program. This is a one year intensive program of three semester. Upon successful completion of the foundation program is admission of candidates into the bachelor degree. Students with four or five credits passes in WAEC, NECO, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge Edexcel, are eligible for the foundation program. Students with Cambridge A’Level, A’Level Edexcel, JAMB, SAT, Australia Grade 12, Canada Grade 12 etc are eligible for the bachelor degree program. The sole aim of the pre-graduate school is: To contribute to human resource development and admission into bachelor degree program in Nigeria, Africa and the world through teaching and innovation. The University will admit its pioneer pre-graduate (foundation) students in February 2018. In response to popular demand, the University Senate in its meeting of February 10, 2017, has established a Pre-Graduate Committee to oversee the development of pre-graduate studies in the University. The Pre-Graduate School is however, established at WU in June 2017.
